4th Annual ICSpark Program. Registration Opens December 1st!, Jan 09, 2023
We are excited to launch our 4th year of ICSpark this upcoming Spring, this time with both in-person and online options available! Registration opens on December 1st 2022 and closes on January 21, 2023. Limited seats are available on a first-sign-up, first-served basis.

Free Gingerbread House & Coding Workshop, Dec 11, 2022
This year we are excited to offer a week of Intro to Web Development workshops prior to our 3-month ICSpark program. Students in 6th - 12th grade are invited to attend and learn more about web development, build gingerbread houses, and interact with our college student mentors. This is a great way to get a taste of what the ICSpark program will be like before signing up for the course.

New INIT() pilot program for HS students, Sep 12, 2022
TORCH is excited to launch the Interactive Near-Peer Information and Technology (INIT) after school mentorship program. INIT() is an extracurricular program that involves collaboration between TORCH and a high school teacher to bring college students (“Mentors”) to the after school classroom on a weekly basis to provide Computer Science (CS) education and guidance. Mentors provide guidance in the form of lectures, live-coding activities, and/or discussion on CS-related topics.

We are excited to be offering in-person coding or technology workshops at libraries across the islands! Event topics will vary based on volunteer interest. Currently we plan to hold 1 workshop every 1 – 2 months depending on volunteer availability.
